Happy Canada Day! It has been sunny, hot and humid. The patios are filled, spirits are high with many participating in local festivals, farmers’ markets, cottage life and summer travel as well as battling driving routes due to our annual Construction season. Let’s not mention high gas prices and air travel difficulties.

We extend a warm welcome through this Summer Update, to the new members to District 23 RTOERO. We are here to assist you in the transition from your working life to your new life after your careers in education. This monthly e-Newsletter will inform you of upcoming activities which will resume in September, and provide you with opportunities to connect with former colleagues and meet new friends. We also have a District 23 Facebook page that you can “Like” or “Follow” that will keep you in the loop about Provincial and North York updates.

All members, including our newest retirees, will receive the next copy of STONY Bridges, our District magazine issued 3x yearly, in August., November and March. As soon as the RTOERO Office updates our membership database monthly, we commence our Communications links with our members to help you know about the activities and opportunities.
