Welcome to the September E-Newsletter and a new year with RTOERO North York District 23. This is our inaugural communication for the 2022-2023 year. It highlights the upcoming month’s events and our return to some in-person activities with some of our conveners. Our email distribution list continues to grow and we extend warm greetings to our newest retirees. District 23 North York is a vibrant and active group of retirees, who engage in variety of events with diverse interests. This fanout will provide monthly reminders for our many activities and provides you with timely updates of special events as they become available.

September is always a very busy month with highly anticipated special events, such as the Champagne Breakfast on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 to welcome our newest retirees. Many of our regular monthly events return such as Bridge, Book Club, Cycling, Needlework and Pole Walking! Read all about these activities in the sections below. Our schools and our teaching colleagues are prepared to return to school next week and the image of “back to school” holds different images than those we held as a child in prior Septembers. We wish them well as they embark on a more familiar September start-up.
